Confession

I did it.  I took Castor oil.  I am 12 days overdue and my doctor told me that if I don't have the baby by 6:00 am tomorrow morning, he is going to induce.  I can't handle that.  Last night Trey and I took a long walk in the freezing darkness to try and get things going.  A few braxton-hicks was all we got.  So this morning, with my impending induction looming over my head I drove over to my friends house and she made me a Castor Oil concoction.  Nasty.  Tasted like Vaseline and orange juice.  Hopefully this will start labor and not just make me sick.  (Don't judge me Danika :))

Visit with Santa

At least these are the things Nora told us she wanted, there was no way she was going to tell Santa though!  I'm such a mean mom.  I made her sit on Santa's lap because I wanted the picture.  Trey was trying to save her.

P.S. Eight days over due.  It's starting to really affect me.  I was so sure this baby was going to be EARLY!!

Baby? What baby?

Due date: December 3

Today: December 4

Hmm...baby?  I think today is the day though because I went to a lady who was referred to me by two of my friends.  She gave me an adjustment and massage and worked on some pressure points that are supposed to help me go into labor.  We'll see what happens!

Thanksgiving Dinner

Mmmm...I love Thanksgiving dinner!  We had it with Trey's family this year (my dad & Barb are on a cruise to Fiji) and it was delicious.  Six days until my due date in this picture!  I wasn't thinking, but I shouldn't have had Clara sit on my lap because then the baby bump could have been in the picture!

Dinosaur Dig Birthday Party

Clara LOVES having her picture taken so when she saw I was about to take a picture of Jonas playing with one of his Birthday presents she hurried over to him to put her arm around him. Um, she's a little vain. We're working on that one.

The Erupting Volcano cake. I pictured it looking more like a volcano and not so much a big glob of ooey gooeyness.

The WILD party guests. One of them isn't in the picture because he couldn't even calm down long enough to be in it. The boys made a volcano out of rocks, dirt and glue and then watched it erupt. Then they had a dinosaur dig where they went outside to uncover dino bones I had burried in the yard. This was followed by T-Rex Tag and then cake and ice cream and presents. Oh, it was loads of fun. Loads (heavy sarcasm). I would have taken more pictures of the events, but like I said, they were WILD. Especially one rude little boy who I wanted so badly to spank. Lovely, I know. Jonas had a blast though, so that's all that mattered!!

Halloween

Why the tears little Bumblebee?

This is why.  Trey's Grandpa Ulibarri loves to dress up on Halloween, but it always seems to be something a little unsettling.  Last year he had a big bloody rat on top of his head that was "eating his head", it was gross.  Clara wouldn't have anything to do with him last year and this year it was Nora's turn to be terrified.  Poor little Bumblebee.
The family.  Jonas was a pirate, Clara a princess and Nora a bumblebee.  Grandma Cindy and Grandpa Dewey bought all of their costumes at Cracker Barrel.  They're the best, they always hook us up. 
I was a big ol' round basketball for Halloween and Trey was the referee.  We won the "cutest couple costume" award!  The prize was candy.  Mmmm...more candy, exactly what this rotund basketball needs!
The cousins .  I love Riley, the mummy in a coffin.  Lindsay picked up that steal for I think 3 bucks at Goodwill.  I LOVE thrift stores.  I think I'm addicted.  About half of my kids wardrobes are thrift store bargains.  Is that weird?  People will ask where I got such and such adorable clothes but t when I say the thrift store they aren't sure what to say next.   Hey, I'm just a savvy shopper, right? 

Uh...better late than never?

So I'm a month late.  That's the story of my life.  Here are some updates:

Field trip to Sutherland Farms with Nora's little pre-school/play group.  There was a barrel train ride, corn maze, animals, hay ride, snack time, story time, corn pit playground, and the kids each got their own pumpkin.  

Clara was determined to find the "perfect" pumpkin.  Notice the look of determination?
Nora loves to be outside.  She could have stayed here all day if I let her!
Me and the girls (well, the boy in my tummy too).  We got lost in the corn maze a few times and ending up going out the same way we came in.

Girls night!

My brother, Bryce is getting deployed to Baghdad in October so he and his wife, Genie and their twins came to town to visit for a week.  We got to enjoy a girls night out of dinner and a movie while the boys watched all the kids.  We sure are going to miss Bryce and family, but we are proud of him for serving our Country!  THANKS BRYCE! (Good grief I look like I'm about to pop!)

Hello Friends & Family we're back!

Jonas' first day of Kindergarten!  I don't think either one of us was too crazy about the first week of school.  He was exhausted and grumpy at the end of the day and I was missing him so much.  I can't believe he spends more time at school during the day than at home.
Clara's first day of preschool.  Notice the shiner?  In this picture her black eye was a week old and look ho prominent it still is!  It's slowly getting better.  She was running in the house and when she fell she didn't put her hands down to stop herself so her face smacked the ground and her glasses beat her up.  
Jo and Clara's first soccer game of the season.  For every goal they score Grandpa Dewey gives them a "Disney Dollar".  It's a dollar coin that they put in a treasure chest to save for when we go to Disney Land.  We are going with the Foutz Family for Christmas.  They have almost $500 saved!!!
Little Nora who misses her brother and sister so much all day when they are at school and soccer.  She literally squeals with delight when we pick them up and runs to give them hugs and kisses.

My mom makes Christmas dresses every year for the girls. She does such a good job, I love them! She even manages to find a matching outfit for Jonas. She is fantastic...
